Sarkar

Lalpur is a very busy hub in Ranchi, and we are located right in the middle of all that activity at the Rohini Complex. Circular Road is almost always packed with students from the nearby colleges and office people heading home. We are situated right opposite the Apsara Hotel. If you have spent any real time in Ranchi, you have probably walked past our door a dozen times without thinking much of it. The Rohini Complex itself is quite old and has that specific smell of old concrete and small shops. We do not have a massive storefront with bright lights. It is just a simple, honest space where we go about our business every day. Most of our time is spent talking to the people who drop in. Sometimes they are looking for something very specific, and other times they are just curious about what we do. We do not use much fancy technology here. A lot of our record-keeping is still done on paper. The lighting inside isn't the brightest you will find, but we actually like it that way. It keeps the place feeling a bit cooler during those really hot Ranchi afternoons. We see the city changing constantly outside our window, with new buildings going up and more cars on Circular Road, but inside Sarkar, things stay pretty much the same as they always were. (250 words)
