Net Ashram Internet Cafe

Net Ashram Internet Cafe has been located in Jajodia Bhawan on Ratu Road for quite some time. We are right opposite the Janta Body Builder shop, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Ranchi has changed a lot, but our little corner on Ratu Road stays pretty much the same. We have a row of computers set up, and they aren't the newest models, but they work fine for checking email or printing out documents. The cafe is often filled with students or people who need to get some online work done. It can get a bit loud because of the traffic outside and the sound of the printers going constantly. There’s usually a bit of a tangle of cables behind the desks, but we know where everything goes. We don’t have a fancy lounge or anything. It’s just a room with some desks and chairs where you can get your tasks finished. I usually sit at the main desk near the door to help people if their screen freezes or if they can't get the printer to work right. We keep some extra paper and ink under the counter just in case. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s useful for the neighborhood. People stop in, do what they need to do, and head out. We try to keep the fans going so it doesn't get too stuffy in here during the afternoon.
