Maple Wood

Maple Wood is situated in the Diocean Village area, specifically on Old H B Road in Ranchi. We are quite close to Siramtoli Chowk and the station road, so there’s always something happening right outside our doors. It’s one of those parts of town that never really feels empty. You’ve got people rushing to catch trains and vendors selling things on the sidewalk all day long. The building itself has been here for a while, and it has that practical look you see in a lot of Ranchi’s older neighborhoods. Inside, it’s mostly just us keeping things running. We spend a lot of time sweeping the entrance because the dust from the road tends to blow in whenever the wind picks up. The rooms are straightforward and don't have any of that modern minimalist stuff you see in big cities. It’s more like staying at a relative’s house that hasn't been renovated in a few years. We know the neighbors, and we know the guys at the tea stall around the corner. It’s a very grounded way of living. We don’t have a fancy marketing department or a big logo; we just have a sign out front and a phone that rings occasionally with questions about room rates. It’s a bit noisy because of the station nearby, but people seem to appreciate being close to the transport links. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day.
