Doon Public School

You can find Doon Public School in the Subhas Pally area of Durgapur. We have been operating out of this location for quite some time now. It’s a regular school where we try to give the kids a decent place to study. Durgapur is a busy city, but our corner in Subhas Pally stays relatively calm during school hours. We have several classrooms and a small staff room where we sit and drink tea while grading papers. The furniture is mostly wooden and has that old school smell to it. We don't go in for flashy stuff. We think it’s more important that the students have their books and a teacher who shows up on time. Every morning starts with the assembly, and then everyone heads to their rooms. The playground isn't massive, but there is enough space for a game of football or some running around during the break. We are not trying to be anything other than a place for the local kids to get their education sorted without too much fuss.
