Saraswati Shishu Mandir School

Our school is situated on G T Road in the Ningha area of Bardhaman. Being right on the main road makes it easy for the buses and parents to get here, though it can be a bit noisy with all the trucks passing by. Saraswati Shishu Mandir has been around for a long time. It’s a traditional kind of place. We focus on the basics of education and keeping things disciplined. The rooms are simple, with fans and wooden desks. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy tech in every room, but the students learn what they need to. The teachers here are very dedicated to their subjects. They live locally and really know the community. We have a courtyard where everyone gathers for prayers and announcements in the morning. It’s a very structured environment, which is how we’ve always done things. We don't spend money on big advertisements. People in Ningha know us because their older children or even they themselves went here. It’s a place with a lot of history in the walls. We just keep going, day after day, making sure the lessons are taught and the school stays in order. It’s not a complicated operation, just a local school doing its job for the families in Bardhaman. We have the usual holidays and exam schedules that everyone follows. It’s a steady, reliable place for the neighborhood kids.
