You will find us at A201, Sector 2C, on Rangamati Path in the Bidhannagar area of Durgapur. It is a quiet enough street for a school, which is good because Durgapur can get quite industrial and loud in other parts. Techno India Group Public School is a standard building with plenty of rooms for all the different grades. We have a playground that gets used every single day by the kids during their breaks. The 713212 pin code is our neighborhood. Inside, the halls are usually full of students rushing to their next class when the bell rings. We have a small office near the front where we handle all the parents' questions and the school fees. It is a very practical setup without many bells and whistles. We have got some trees around the perimeter that provide a bit of shade in the summer months. The teachers here have their own staff room where they drink tea and grade papers between lessons. We do not try to be anything we are not; it is just a local school where kids come to learn their subjects and hang out with their friends. Sometimes we have small events in the assembly area, but mostly it is just the daily grind of lessons and homework. Bidhannagar is a nice place to be, and our spot on Rangamati Path suits us just fine for what we do.
