Hariki F P School

We are located on Rakshitpur Road, right in the Hariki area near Malam Dighi. It’s a specific part of Durgapur that feels a bit more tucked away. Hariki F P School has been a fixture here for quite some time now. The road outside gets busy during the morning rush, but once the kids are inside the gate, it settles down. We have a small playground that gets a lot of use. The grass doesn't grow very well because of all the running around, so it’s mostly just packed earth. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It's just us and the students. The teachers live nearby, so they don't have far to travel. We keep the classrooms painted, though the walls get scuffed up pretty fast with all the bags leaning against them. Durgapur can get quite humid, so the rainy season is always a bit of a challenge with the mud. We make sure the kids wipe their feet before coming in. It’s these little things that keep the place going. We don't talk about big visions or anything fancy. We just make sure there are enough pencils and that the lessons are followed. It’s a simple school for the local families here in 713212, and we like it that way. No one is trying to be something they are not here. We just provide a place for the children to learn their lessons.
