Durgapur Public School

Our school is situated on Shahid Sukumar Banerjee Sarani in the Bidhannagar area of Durgapur. It’s a well-known part of the city, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. The street can get a bit crowded during the morning drop-off, but once the students are inside, things settle down. We have a multi-story building with plenty of windows, so the classrooms get a lot of natural light, which is nice. There’s always someone at the front gate, and the staff room is usually buzzing with teachers drinking tea and marking papers. We don’t have anything too fancy here; it’s just standard classrooms with benches and boards. We’ve been operating in Bidhannagar for quite some time now, and we’ve seen a lot of students grow up and move on. The playground isn't massive, but it's enough for the kids to get some exercise during their lunch break. We try to keep the corridors clear, but there’s always a stray bag or a jacket left behind somewhere. It’s a very normal, busy school environment. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams are handled properly. It’s a lot of hard work for everyone involved, but it’s what we do every day. The routine keeps us going, and we like being part of this neighborhood. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the place running efficiently.
