Utsav Spices

Utsav Spices is a small shop located at 406 Mukund Nagar. We are on the 40th Cross in the 8th Block. It’s a decent area to have a business because it’s not as crazy as the main market centers. We have been in this 8th Block spot for a good number of years now. Our focus is just on spices. We take the raw stuff and get it ready for people to use. The shop isn't very big. We have shelves lining the walls and a heavy table in the center where we do the weighing. It is a very manual process. We do not use big automated machines. Just simple scales and scoops. The 40th Cross is usually easy to find. We know the other shop owners on this street. We often stand outside for a bit in the evenings when things slow down. We do not have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people in Mukund Nagar know we are here and that we have been here for a long time. It’s just a few of us working here, and we do not really have titles or anything. We just do whatever needs to be done, whether it’s sweeping the floor or packing a large order. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life and we are happy with that. Sometimes the spice dust makes us sneeze, but we are used to it.
