Shri Corner

We are located down at Laxmi Road in the Por Ramangamdi G.I.D.C. Estate area. This is a busy part of Vadodara and things are always moving here. Most days start pretty early because that is when the workers and commuters are out and about. We have been in this spot for a while now at unit 93/3. It is not a very big space but it gets the job done for what we do every day. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be a bit much sometimes but we just keep the doors open and stay busy. People come in looking for different things and we try to keep what is necessary on the shelves. There is always noise from the nearby factories and trucks passing by on the main road. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It is a simple way of living and working. We know most of the people who walk past our door by name because they stop here so often. It is just a regular local spot where things happen at a slow and steady pace. We do not have any fancy signs or big lights outside. The building itself is a bit old and has some marks on the walls from years of use. That is just how things are around here in the estate. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the shop is ready for tomorrow morning when shifts start.
