Chunilal Bhikaji

Our place is over at 139/B/2 in Bhawani Peth, right in the Bharat Nagar area. It is on L H Road, directly across from the Gokul Wasahat Talim. If you know this part of the city, you know Bhawani Peth is always full of activity and noise. The shop itself is tucked away where we keep our stock and handle the daily trade. We have been here for years, dealing with the same suppliers and the same people who walk by every morning. It is a bit crowded inside with all the boxes and items we carry, but we know where everything is. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Being near the Talim means there is always someone around. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. The street outside is narrow and dusty, especially when the trucks come through. It is a practical business, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory is counted. Chunilal Bhikaji is just a name on a board to some, but for us, it is where we spend all our hours. It is hot in the summer because the fan doesn't do much, but we get used to it. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in with a list of what they need.
