Spice India Enterprises

We are located at 81/4-B in the Shivne area. It’s a place where we spend most of our time dealing with different kinds of spices. You can usually tell you are getting close to the building because of the strong smells of pepper or turmeric hanging in the air. Spice India Enterprises isn't a massive corporation; it’s just a local operation where we do a lot of the sorting and weighing ourselves. The workspace is filled with bags and scales, and there is usually a layer of fine dust on most things by midday. We get a lot of deliveries coming in from farms, and then we have to spend time going through everything to make sure it’s okay for packaging. Shivne is a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice because we have a little more room to move around. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. Our staff is mostly people from nearby, so we all know each other well. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the work in front of us. Most of the day involves bagging things up and checking the weights on the old manual scales we’ve had for years. It’s hard work and your hands usually end up stained by the end of the day, but it’s what we know. We just take it day by day here and keep things moving.
