Simrut Foods

We are based at Parijatak in Samrat Colony, which is over in Pimple Nilakh. If you know the Aundh Camp area in Pune-411027, you’re pretty close to us. Simrut Foods is a small operation, mostly run from this spot. It’s not a factory or a big corporate kitchen. We do a lot of the food prep and management right here in the colony. It smells like cooking most of the time, which is usually a good thing. We have a few people helping out with the orders. Samrat Colony is a friendly place to be. We often see the same neighbors every morning when we’re starting our shift. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just write down orders and make sure the food gets out. Sentence lengths are all over the place because we’re usually in a hurry. The kitchen can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have the windows open. We like being in Pimple Nilakh because it’s a good middle ground for deliveries. Most of our equipment is just standard stuff you’d find in a busy home kitchen, just a bit bigger. We don’t put on any acts here. We just make food and try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of hard work, but we enjoy the local feel of the business.
