Sri Padmavati Export

We are located on the ground floor of the Rawal Building. Sri Padmavati Export has been running out of this space for a while now. It’s a bit of a low-slung building, and being on the ground floor makes it easy for moving boxes and crates in and out without too much trouble. We don't have a lot of space inside, so we have to stay organized or we wouldn't be able to move. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking the shipping lists to make sure everything is on track. The walls are pretty plain, and we have a few desks pushed together in the main room. It gets a bit noisy when the street outside is busy with traffic, but we don't mind it much after all these years. We deal with a lot of different things for export, so there are always samples lying around on the shelves. The light in the office isn't the best, but we have a few lamps to help out during the dark afternoons. We get our tea from the guy at the corner and usually eat our lunch at our desks while we keep working. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of logistics and making sure everything is where it needs to be for the customers. We know the other people in the Rawal Building pretty well by now. It’s a community of sorts here on the ground floor. We just try to keep things moving.
