Greetwell Handicrafts

We are tucked away in Garodia Nagar over in Ghatkoper East. It’s a bit quieter here than the main markets, which is good for the kind of work we do. In the workshop, there’s always something being put together by hand. We have shelves filled with all sorts of small items, some finished and some just starting out. You might smell glue or wood shavings depending on what we are making that day. It isn't a factory with big machines; it’s more about using your hands and simple tools. We spend a lot of time just sitting at the benches, focusing on the small details of each piece. Sometimes a project takes much longer than we thought, but that’s just how it goes with handicrafts. The lighting isn't great, but we make do with a few extra lamps. We don’t have a fancy display window. Most of the stuff is just kept on wooden racks until it’s ready to go out. People who live around here know us and sometimes stop by to see what’s new. We don’t use any complicated software or systems. Everything is written down in a big ledger on the main table. It’s a slow process compared to modern shops, but we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and keep making things, one piece at a time, every single day.
