Rudra Mahimaa

You have to go up the hill toward the RV Sanatorium to find us. Rudra Mahimaa is located right above the Ayurvedic College in Sion. It’s actually a nice spot because you get a bit of a breeze up there that you don’t get down on the main roads. Our place is at number two on the hilltop. We do various things here, mostly related to traditional items or whatever the local community is looking for. It’s a peaceful area, though the walk up can be a bit much if you aren't used to it. Inside, it’s a bit cluttered with boxes and various goods. We don’t spend much on decorating the place because we are more focused on the work itself. We see a lot of students from the college nearby who come by for one thing or another. Our days are fairly regular. We open the shutters, light a bit of incense, and get to work. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s more like a family-run shop where everyone knows each other. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet and just look out at the city below. It’s a good location for us. We don't need much more than our small space and a steady stream of work. It feels like home after being here so long. We just take things one day at a time and see what needs doing next.
