Sahar Star

You can find us at 112, Assumption Village on Shivaji Road in Kandivali West. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don’t know the area well. This is the office we use for Sahar Star. The neighborhood is full of narrow lanes and old buildings, and we are tucked right into one of them. It’s a far cry from the big hotels you might see elsewhere. Inside, it’s just a regular room with a few wooden desks and some plastic chairs that have seen better days. We have a lot of ledgers and notebooks stacked up because we still like to write things down manually. The window looks out onto a small alleyway where the local kids like to play cricket in the evenings. It gets quite loud, but we don't mind the noise much. Shivaji Road itself is always a mess of traffic and people, so it’s actually a bit more peaceful once you get back into the village area. We have a small electric kettle for making tea, and there’s usually a packet of biscuits sitting on the shelf. The floor is tiled and a bit uneven in places. We’ve been here long enough that we don't even notice the quirks anymore. 400 067 is our zip code. It’s a simple, honest place to work. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home like everyone else in Mumbai. It suits us fine.
