A M Overseas

A M Overseas is right here in Govandi East. Carnac Bunder Road is where we spend most of our time these days. Number 115 is our little spot. It’s a bit dusty outside because of all the construction nearby, but we don’t really mind it much. We’ve been handling things here for a long time. The office is quite small and we have files stacked up everywhere. It isn’t very organized to be honest, but we know where everything is kept. The neighbors get loud sometimes and we hear the heavy trucks going by all day. It’s just part of the daily routine. We get to work early and stay late if there is a lot to finish. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside the door. People usually just find us by looking at the address. We deal with whatever comes our way. It’s practical work. No one here wears a suit unless there’s a really big reason. We prefer just being comfortable in our own clothes. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long. It gets quite hot in the afternoons. We usually order some lunch from the small shop around the corner. It’s better than bringing a lunch box every day. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing. That’s just not our style at all. We just get the job done and go home to our families. It is just a living.
