Salonee Exports

We are tucked away in the Nand Ghanshyam Industrial Estate, specifically at unit 19. It’s just off Mahakali Road in Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know it’s a maze of warehouses and small factories. Salonee Exports fits right in here. Our space is filled with the smell of packing tape and cardboard boxes. There’s almost always a truck parked outside waiting to be loaded or unloaded. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have some heavy-duty fans that do their best to keep us cool. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of what we do at Salonee Exports is just manual work and keeping track of shipments. There are desks scattered around the main floor where the paperwork gets done. It’s a bit noisy with the sounds of the industrial estate, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. The stairs up to the mezzanine are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to be careful. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure our exports get where they need to go on time. It’s a straightforward life here in Andheri. We start early, work hard, and try to avoid the worst of the evening traffic. It is a long day but the work is steady and it keeps us all very busy.
