Ruby Exports

Our shop is over at 55/1, Shop No. 1, right in Wadala. Ruby Exports isn't a massive place, just a simple storefront where we handle our export business. Wadala is a busy spot, always something happening on the streets outside. We’ve been in this specific shop for quite a few years now. Most days, you’ll find us surrounded by boxes and packing materials. We spend a lot of time making sure things are packed securely before they head out. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We’re usually in comfortable clothes because there’s a lot of lifting and moving to do. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors well, and it’s a friendly enough block. We don’t put much stock in being professional in the corporate sense. We’d rather just be honest and do the work right. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a small operation, and everyone here does a bit of everything. One minute you’re on the phone, the next you’re loading a crate. We like the variety of it. It keeps us on our toes. There isn't any big secret to how we run things; we just show up every morning and get through the list of things to do. If you’re ever in Wadala, look for Shop No. 1. We're usually here until late.
