Rohan India is located in Shop No 127 at the Gokul Shopping Center in Borivali West. We are situated right opposite the Pantaloon showroom on the 2nd Main of South Central Street. If you know Seshadripuram, you know it’s a very active area. The shopping center is always full of people, especially on the weekends. Our shop is one of many, but we’ve tried to make it our own with some simple wooden shelving and a sturdy counter. It’s a bit tight when we get a shipment in, as the boxes take up most of the floor space until we can get them put away. We don’t have any fancy sales tactics or bright neon signs. We just wait for people to come in and ask for what they need. The lighting in the mall is a bit harsh, so we usually keep a smaller lamp on the desk to make it easier to read the paperwork. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’ve seen shops around us come and go. We stay because we like the rhythm of Borivali. There is a certain comfort in the routine of opening up, chatting with the neighboring shopkeepers, and seeing the regulars walk by. It’s not a complicated life. We focus on the stock we have and making sure the shop is ready for whoever walks in. It’s just a normal business in a busy shopping center.
