Spice Bazar

Our shop is located in Dhiraj Arcade on Dr Ambedkar Road. Bandra West is a really busy part of Mumbai, so there is never a quiet moment around here. The arcade itself has a lot of different businesses, and we are just one of them. People are always walking by on their way to work or the market. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just a regular door that leads into our space. Inside, things are organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. We've been at 400050 for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The traffic on Dr Ambedkar Road is pretty much constant from morning until late at night. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other over the horns, but you get used to it. We don't do anything special for marketing; we just rely on people seeing us when they walk past the arcade. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We spend most of our time dealing with the inventory and talking to whoever walks in. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything runs. It’s a bit of a squeeze when it gets busy, but we make it work. Living and working in Bandra means you just have to go with the flow of the city. We are here every day.
