Emje Madgascar

Our spot is on the ground floor of Neo Plaza, unit 09. If you know where Liberty Garden is in Malad West, we are not far from there at all. The shop is tucked away on Ramchandra Lane in the Kanch Pada area. We have been operating out of this space for a bit now. It is not the biggest place in the world, but it works for what we do. We handle a variety of things here. Most days are spent sorting through orders or talking to people who walk in off the street. The traffic on Ramchandra Lane can be a real headache sometimes, especially in the late afternoons when everyone is out. We see a lot of local faces every day. It is a busy neighborhood and there is always something going on right outside our door. We try to keep the place tidy, but when new shipments come in, boxes end up everywhere for a day or two. That is just how it goes when you are busy. We are not big on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just have what people are looking for and we try to be helpful. It is a family-run kind of vibe here. You might see a couple of us working at the counter or moving stuff around in the back. Being near the garden is nice because it gives us an easy landmark to tell people. Emje Madgascar has been here long enough that most neighbors know us.
