Nina Creations

Nina Creations is located at G/3 on Panmala Road in Borivali West. It is a ground floor shop, which makes it easy for people to just wander in while they are walking home. Borivali is a massive place, but our little corner on Panmala Road is a bit quieter than the busy station side. We work on various clothing items and designs here. It’s mostly just a few of us working together. We have some racks and a few old mannequins that have seen better days but still work for us. The floor is easy to clean, which is a good thing because we get a lot of threads and fabric scraps everywhere by the afternoon. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks professional. Most people find us because they live in the nearby buildings or heard about us from a friend. We start our day with a little prayer and then get to work on the machines. The tea lady comes by twice a day and we always take a short break then. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back window when the monsoon is very heavy, so we have to move the stock to the center. It’s a humble setup. We don't claim to be anything huge or fancy. We just try to make things that people will want to wear. The shop is small, so we have to be very organized.
