We operate out of 101 Vijay Industrial Estate, which is located on Link Road, specifically near 10th Main Road in the 3rd Block of Malad West. Being in an industrial estate means our days are mostly about the sound of trucks and the moving of crates. It isn't a retail shop where people just wander in to look at things; it is more of a place where work gets done behind the scenes. We have our space on the first floor, and most of the time is spent checking lists or making sure shipments are ready to go out. Malad West has become quite a hub for these kinds of estates, so there is always something happening on the road outside. The building itself is quite sturdy and old-fashioned, with wide corridors that make it easier to move stuff around. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery drivers and people we have known for years in the trade. The atmosphere is very practical. We have our desks, our storage area, and not much else in the way of comfort. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the windows open and get on with the job. It is honest work and we have been doing it from this same spot for a good while. You get used to the rhythm of the industrial estate after a few months. It's just a regular part of our lives now.
