Our place is over in Goregaon West, specifically in Sidharth Nagar at the Transit Camp on Road No. 9. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed this area gets. Shiva Narayan Singh is usually the one you’ll see if you stop by the office at 17B/253. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise from the street and people always moving about. The room is tucked away among all the other buildings, so it can be a little tricky to find if you aren't looking closely at the door numbers. We spend our days here dealing with all the export stuff, mostly surrounded by stacks of papers and boxes waiting to go out. The rain in the monsoon makes the road outside pretty messy, but we keep the inside as dry as we can. We have a few desks and some chairs, nothing too comfortable, just what we need to get the shipping work finished. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we take our breaks when the afternoon slump hits. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls, just a solid brick and mortar room where we do the work. The Goregaon traffic is always a headache, so we try to get our deliveries sorted early before the roads completely block up in the evening rush. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized despite the chaos of the transit camp.
