Lucknowi Crafts

Our operation is based out of the G.I.D.C area in Vatva, Phase 2, and we also have a presence in Bandra West. Our focus is on Lucknowi crafts, which involves a lot of detailed work with fabric and thread. The workshop in Vatva is where most of the heavy lifting happens. It is an industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise from the nearby factories and the sound of machines running. We have workers who have been doing this kind of embroidery for years, and they sit together in the brighter parts of the room to see the fine details of their work. It’s not a fancy setup with air conditioning; we mostly rely on big ceiling fans to keep the air moving. The office part of the building is cluttered with sample books and rolls of cloth that haven't been used yet. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply or the narrow roads getting blocked by delivery vans, but we manage to get through it. In Bandra West, things are a bit different but the core of what we do remains the same. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. Instead, we just make sure the handiwork is done correctly before it gets sent out. It is a lot of manual labor and requires a lot of patience, but that is just the nature of the craft we handle here.
