Dodia Vinodbhai

I'm Dodia Vinodbhai. We operate out of 6/12, Manda House. It's an old building in Mumbai, around the 400004 area. Finding the entrance can be tricky if you aren't looking for the sign. The stairs are narrow, so we usually tell people to watch their step. We've been in this room for years. It's a small space, but it fits what we need for the work. There is always tea being made in the corner. Sometimes the phone rings too much and we can't answer it right away, but we try. It’s just how things go here. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us trying to make a living in Maharashtra. The windows don't always open all the way because the frames are old. Still, we like it here. It’s close to everything we need. Most of our day is spent at the wooden table in the middle of the room. We don’t do any fancy advertising or anything. People just find out about us by word of mouth or seeing the address on a paper. It's a quiet way to run a business. We handle the paperwork, talk to whoever comes by, and close up when the sun goes down. It's a long day, but it feels right. Manda House has a lot of history, and we are just one part of it now, doing our bit without any extra noise.
