Working out of Santacruz East isn't always easy because of the narrow streets. Our place in Jahangirpura is usually full of boxes and papers. Chinus Exports Pvt Ltd is basically just a few of us making sure everything gets sent out on time. The office is tucked away, so it stays a bit quieter than the main road. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some days are slow, others we can barely find a place to sit. It’s just how it goes here in Santacruz. We don't have those glass walls or fancy coffee machines you see in movies. It’s mostly just files and the sound of the printer. We focus on getting the exports moving. The Jahangirpura area has a lot of small businesses like ours. You get to know the neighbors after a while. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to do the job right and go home. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out. It’s a very local way of working. People drop by without calling sometimes. It can be a bit chaotic during the monsoon season. The roof drips a little but we put a bucket there. It's just home for our work. Chinus Exports is really just about the people here. We stay busy and don't worry about the small things.
