C M Craft

C M Craft is located on Dharavi Road, number 41405. If you have ever walked down this road, you know how much is constantly going on. Our workshop is right in the middle of all that energy. It’s a place where we make things by hand. There is usually a lot of dust and the sound of tools being used. It isn't a clean, polished environment like you see in a mall. It’s a real workshop with scraps on the floor and tools hanging on the walls. We take pride in the stuff we make, but we don't go around bragging about it. We are just local people working hard. Often, we are here late into the evening under a few bright bulbs. The neighbors are all doing similar things, so there is a sense of community. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. You just walk in and find us working. Sometimes we run out of materials and have to wait for a delivery to navigate the narrow streets. It’s just part of life here on Dharavi Road. We don't use fancy English or marketing terms. We just build what needs to be built. Every day is different, but the work stays the same. It’s about being steady and getting things done right. We have been in this spot for a long time and we plan to stay here for many more years to come.
