Art Yarn Export

We’ve been running Art Yarn Export from our office here in Andheri East for quite a few years now. We are located at B 604, which isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the building. It's a busy area and the noise from the street usually makes its way up to us. We handle all sorts of yarn, mostly for people who want to send it abroad. My uncle actually started the business and then I took over the day-to-day things. The office is pretty simple. We have a few old desks, a computer that’s a bit slow, and stacks of samples everywhere. It’s not one of those fancy places with a lobby. We usually have boxes piled up near the door waiting for the courier. Some days we are really busy answering calls and checking shipping schedules, and other days it’s just quiet paperwork. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how things work. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, or the elevator in the building breaks down, but we just deal with it. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the yarn gets where it needs to go without too much trouble. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know most of the people around here.
