Apsara Darbar

Apsara Darbar is located right in the Alfraid cinema building on Falkland Road. If you know the Grant Road area in Mumbai, you probably know where that is already. It’s an old part of town and things are always a bit chaotic outside with the traffic and people moving around. We have been here for a long time, just doing our thing day in and day out. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it gets the job done for us. We don’t have a big team or any fancy uniforms. It is just a few of us making sure everything is handled. People come in from Grant Road 400007 for all sorts of reasons. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or try to look like those polished places in the newer parts of Mumbai. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until we are finished for the day. Sometimes the ceiling needs a bit of paint or the floor looks worn down, but that is just how it is when you have been in one spot for years. We like the neighborhood even though it is noisy and the air is thick. It feels like home to us. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to be here when people expect us to be. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than that.
