Aangi Collection

Aangi Collection is inside Earth Castel Mall at Charni Road. Specifically, we are at 1 Earth Castel Mall, down the 9th Cross in the 4th Phase area. Being in a mall is different from being on the street because you don’t have to worry about the rain as much, but the lights are always humming. Our shop is one of many, tucked away where the 4th Phase starts. We have racks lined up with whatever we are currently holding in stock. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, but with people walking in from Charni Road all day, there is always a bit of dust. It gets quiet in the mornings before the lunch crowd starts moving through the mall. We spend that time folding things and checking the tags. The address can be a bit confusing for new people since the mall is quite big and has many phases. We usually tell people to look for the 9th Cross. It’s a practical space, not too much extra room for sitting around. We have a small stool behind the counter and a mirror on the side wall. Charni Road is a fast place, everyone is in a hurry to get to the station. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a lot of standing and moving things from one rack to another. We finish up in the evening when the mall lights start to dim and the last few shoppers go home.
