Yehovah Bricks

If you head down Midalam Road towards Mangalakuntu, you’ll find us at 51/83. It’s not a huge place, just a decent-sized yard where we make our bricks. We started this because there was a need for it around here. Every morning starts about the same, checking the mix and getting the molds ready. Some days are slower than others. When the rain comes, we have to scramble to cover everything up or the whole batch gets ruined. That’s always a headache. We have a couple of guys who have been with us since the start. They know the rhythm of the place better than anyone. It’s loud when the machinery is running, so we don't talk much during those hours. You just get into a zone. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the bricks are solid and that we can pay the bills at the end of the month. Sometimes customers come by and chat for a bit while we load their carts. It’s nice to see the houses being built nearby using what we made right here. The yard gets a bit crowded with pallets sometimes, but we manage. If you’re looking for the spot, just look for the gate near the bend in the road. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down.
