We are located at 5/32 on Dindugal Road in Singampunari. This has been our spot for quite some time. It's right on the way if you're traveling along that road. We mainly handle brick production and sales for the local area. It’s a dusty place to work, but we are used to it. The team here is small, mostly just locals who know the trade. We start early in the morning when it's a bit cooler. By midday, the sun is usually beating down on the brick piles. We don't have any fancy offices or shiny signs. Most people just pull their tractors or trucks right into the yard to load up. We keep a ledger of who bought what and that’s about as technical as we get. Sometimes the clay supply is a bit difficult to manage if the weather has been wet. We just do our best to keep the supply moving. Singampunari is a growing place, so there’s usually someone building something nearby. We don't make big promises, we just show you what's ready in the stacks. It is a basic business, built on doing the same thing day after day. We like the routine of it and being part of the community here. On Dindugal Road, the traffic is almost constant. Our yard at 5/32 is always a bit chaotic with piles of bricks and heaps of sand. We spend hours every day just stacking the finished bricks into neat rows. It’s hard on the back, but you get a rhythm after a while.
