Bima Bricks

Bima Bricks is located at 9/42, Periyar, 1st Street in the Anna Nagar area of Vilangudi. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, watching the neighborhood grow up around us. The street can get a bit narrow when the bigger trucks try to turn in, but we make it work somehow. Most days, you’ll find us out in the yard, sorting through the latest batch or checking on the stacks. It’s hard work, and your hands get pretty rough after a few years of doing this. We don’t have any slick brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. It’s just us and the bricks. People from around Vilangudi usually just drop by when they need something for a project. We know most of the regulars by name. Sometimes we sit outside under the shade when the heat gets too much in the afternoon. 1st Street isn't the quietest place, but we like the energy of Anna Nagar. There is always someone walking by or a bike zooming past the gate. We keep the ledger on a wooden table that’s seen better days. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just focus on getting the stacks moved and making sure the counts are right before the sun goes down. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday and that is enough for us.
