Sunny Platter Restaurant

Sunny Platter Restaurant is located on Plot No 14, inside Meenakshis Sunshine Hotel. We are right on Meenakshi Mission Road in Madurai. It’s a busy part of the city because we are so close to the Meenakshi Mission Hospital. A lot of the people who come to eat with us are visiting family at the hospital or are staying in the hotel for work. Because of that, we try to keep things calm and straightforward. The restaurant isn't very large, but we have enough space for everyone. The kitchen is always going, especially during the lunch hour when it gets really hot outside. We serve regular meals that people are used to eating at home. Our staff is mostly local guys who know the city well. We don't have a fancy menu with complicated names. It is just a list of food that we know how to cook well. We keep the tables wiped down and the water glasses full. It is a practical place. We know people are often in a hurry or have other things on their minds, so we don't dawdle with the service. We’ve been at this location for a while now and have become a bit of a fixture on this road. It’s not about being the flashiest place in Madurai, just about being there when people need a decent meal. We just do our work and go home.
