A H Bismillah Briyani

We have been running A H Bismillah Briyani for some time now at No 46 A A H Building. Being on Kajimar Street in the middle of Madurai Bazaar means things are always moving around us. It is quite close to the Kajimar Palli Vasal, so people find us easily enough when they are out for prayers or shopping. We are just a local spot. Nothing too complicated about what we do here. The building itself is well known in this part of Madurai. We see a lot of the same faces every day, mostly folks who work nearby or live around the bazaar. It gets loud and busy, especially when the afternoon heat kicks in. We just keep the kitchen going. It’s not a large place, just enough room for people to sit and have their meal. We try to keep things steady. Sometimes the street gets blocked with traffic, but that is just how Madurai Bazaar is. We don’t spend much time on decorations or anything like that. The focus is always on the food we prepare. It feels good to be a part of this community for so many years. If you are ever walking past the A H Building, you will see our sign. We are usually there from early on, getting everything ready for the day's crowd. It’s just honest work for us, and we like being here.
