Akshya Roof Top Restaurant is at the top of the Padmam Hotel. Our address is number 1, Perumal Tank West Street, right in the Town Hall Road area of Madurai. Being on the roof gives you a bit of a breeze, which is nice in this heat. We are right in the 625001 zip code, very central. You have to come inside the Padmam Hotel and head up to find us. It is not a fancy place with white tablecloths. It is more of a casual spot where you can see the city while you eat. We have been running this for a few years now. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but most people do not mind once they get up here. We do not spend much on decorations. The view of the town is really the main thing. We serve the usual stuff people like. It can get busy on weekend nights when the weather is clear. We are not trying to be a five-star dining experience. We are just a local rooftop spot on Town Hall Road. We do the cooking ourselves and have a few staff members to help out. Sometimes we get a lot of people from the hotel staying downstairs.
