Sri Saravana Restaurant

Sri Saravana Restaurant is situated on Mellur Road in K K Nagar, right near the Madurai Court. Because of the location, we see a lot of lawyers, clerks, and people who have business at the court. Lunchtime is our busiest period, and it can get quite intense. The fans are always going full blast to keep the air moving, especially when it’s one of those typical hot Madurai days. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy decor. The walls are plain, and the furniture is just basic stuff that’s easy to clean. We focus on getting the food to the tables quickly because most of our customers are in a hurry to get back to their hearings or offices. We have a few regular items that we prepare every day. My team is small, and we’ve all been working together for a few years now. We know who likes what and who is usually in a bad mood because of their court case. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We’re just a local eating house that feeds people who are working hard. The road outside can get very noisy with the traffic from the court, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the supply of vegetables is late, and we have to adjust our plan for the day on the fly. It's just part of running a small business like this. We do our best with what we have.
