Sree Sabarees Restaurant

Sree Sabarees Restaurant is on West Perumal Maistry Street in Madurai City. We’re located at No 56 A, right opposite New College House. This area is always full of people, especially with all the lodges and hotels around. We get a mix of travelers and local residents coming in. We’ve been here for quite some time now and have seen many people pass through our doors. The restaurant isn't very large, but we try to make the best use of the space we have. We don't have a fancy interior design or anything like that. It’s just tables and chairs and a kitchen that stays busy from morning till night. We serve the kind of food you'd expect in Madurai, a bit spicy and very local. The kitchen staff are hard workers who have been with us for years. We don't do any flashy marketing. We just rely on the fact that we're in a good location and people know where to find us. Sometimes it gets really loud when the street outside is busy, but that’s just life in the city center. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure no one goes away hungry. We use local spices and whatever fresh produce we can find in the markets. It’s not a complicated setup. We just open up every day and do our thing for the people who walk in for a meal during their busy day in Madurai.
