PECHIAMMAN MILK DEPOT RESTAURANT

We are located at 3 Byepass Road in the Palanganatham area of Madurai. Most people know where we are because Jeyam Cinema is right there. We started as the Pechiamman Milk Depot and eventually became a restaurant too. It’s a very local spot. We don't have air conditioning or fancy menus. We just have a large room with some fans and plenty of tables. The street outside is always full of activity with the bypass road being so close. We open up very early to catch the morning crowd. Many people come in for their morning coffee or a quick breakfast before they head to work. It’s a loud and lively place. We don't have a marketing department or a website. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and everyone in the neighborhood knows us. The staff is mostly made up of local people who have worked here for a long time. We spend our days cooking and serving and cleaning up. It’s a cycle that never really stops. The heat in Madurai can be tough, especially in the kitchen, but we just get on with it. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in town. We are just a simple restaurant that serves the people who live and work around Palanganatham.
