Noodle King Restaurant

You can find us on the fourth floor of building number 31 on Gokule Road. We are Shop Number 7 in that complex in Chinna Chokkikulam. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is slow, but we are up there. We’ve been serving food in Madurai for a while. Our menu is mostly focused on noodles and similar stuff that fills you up. The space isn't very large, so on weekends it can get a bit cramped with people waiting. We try to keep the tables moving so nobody has to wait too long outside in the hallway. The kitchen staff is usually busy with the stove, so there's always a bit of steam in the air. We keep the windows open when we can to let the breeze in. It's a simple setup with local workers who have lived in the city their whole lives. We don't have a big staff, just a few people handling the orders and the cleaning. Sometimes we run out of a specific type of vegetable if the market was short that morning. We just tell the customers and they usually don’t mind picking something else. It's a casual place where you don't have to dress up. We just want to serve a decent meal and get through the day's work. It’s nothing special to look at, but we keep the place tidy and the food hot for everyone who visits us in this part of Madurai.
