Madurai College House Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked inside the College House Hotel on Town Hall Road. It's a well-known spot in Madurai, mostly because the hotel has been around for so long. Being right there near the station and the main markets means we see all sorts of people. We have guests from the hotel and people just walking in from the street. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time. We aren't trying to be a five-star dining experience. It's more of a place where you can get a decent meal and rest your legs. We've got a team that's been together for a while. We know the rhythm of the place. Breakfast is usually the busiest time because of the hotel guests. Then it slows down a bit before the lunch crowd hits. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the tables are set. The building itself has that old Madurai feel to it. High ceilings and lots of movement. We don't use any fancy tech to run the place. It's all very manual and hands-on. We just focus on getting the food out on time. It's a steady job and we like the people we meet. It’s just a part of the daily life on Town Hall Road. We're glad to be here. Some days are more tiring than others, but that is how the restaurant business goes. We just take it one day at a time and do what we can.
