Madurai Arulanantham Meals Hotel

You can find us on East Lane, right near the Kamarajar Statue. It’s a very busy part of Madurai, especially around Villakuthoon. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The building is number 20/13. It's not a huge place, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen getting the meals ready. We focus on the basics. People come here because they want a meal without any fuss. It's usually local workers and people shopping in the bazaar who stop in. The street outside is always crowded with people and scooters. We are used to the noise by now. Our staff is small, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We don't have a big fancy menu with a thousand items. We just do what we know. It's a lot of standing on your feet all day, but that's the job. Sometimes we run out of things toward the end of the shift, especially on busy days. We try to stay organized, but in a small kitchen, things can get a bit messy during the rush. We like being in this part of town. There is a lot of history around here. We just want to keep serving meals to whoever walks through the door. It's a simple life. We don't expect things to change much. We just keep the lights on and the food hot for our guests every single day.
