Biripani Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our company is based in Dasamantpur, specifically in the Nandiaguda area at Narasinha Kadraka’s house. We are at Plot Number 400/738 in Ward Number 05. It’s a quiet neighborhood, but there’s usually a lot of talk going on about the Biripani Farmers group. We are a producer company, so our whole world is about local harvests and trying to get things organized so they can be sold. We don’t have any fancy equipment or a high-end office. It’s mostly just a few chairs and a sturdy table where we sit and figure out the crop schedules. Nandiaguda is home to us, and we know these hills and fields pretty well. We started this because we wanted the farmers in Dasamantpur to have a way to work together directly. It’s not always easy, and we run into plenty of problems with the weather or getting trucks to show up on time, but that’s just part of the life we chose. We don’t put on any corporate acts. If you come by the house, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a long conversation about seed quality or current market prices. It’s a very practical, everyday kind of operation. We don’t spend much time on computers; it’s mostly face-to-face talking and handshakes. We’re just a bunch of neighbors trying to make a living off the land and keep the local farming traditions alive as best as we can manage.
