Puintala Pragati Farmer Producer Company Limited

You can find our group over at Trinath Mahakur’s place in Bahalpadar. It serves as the main point for our small group here. We named the business Puintala Pragati Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to see things move forward a little for the people farming in this local area. It is not a huge operation with lots of employees. We are just a bunch of neighbors who eventually realized that selling our crops separately wasn't working out very well for us anymore. Bahalpadar is where we all live and do our daily work. We meet up at Trinath’s house to talk about what we are going to plant and how we are going to get the stuff to the market. It is a very local thing. Most of us have been farming these same small plots of land since we were young kids. We don't have a corporate office with fancy desks and rolling chairs. Usually, we just sit outside in the shade and talk through whatever needs doing that week. Some of the younger guys in the village help us with the registration and the legal bits because that is a lot for us to handle on our own. It is not always easy to keep everyone happy, but we try our best to work together as a team. If you need to find us, just ask anyone for the farmer group near the Mahakur house. We are usually busy with the crops.
