Zyka Restaurant

Zyka Restaurant is situated at 850, Block P in New Alipur. We are right opposite the main gate of the Rasoi Factory, so we are quite easy to find if you are in that part of Kolkata. New Alipur is a nice neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Our place is pretty straightforward; we have tables for people to sit and a kitchen that stays busy from lunch until the evening. We don’t go in for any of that corporate polish you see in the malls. It’s just a regular local spot with a plain interior and staff who have been with us for a good bit of time. The factory across the road means we get a lot of workers and staff coming in during their breaks, and then the local families show up later in the day. It can get a bit hectic when everyone arrives at once, and the noise level definitely goes up. We spend our days making sure the ingredients are fresh and the kitchen is ready for the next rush. There isn’t anything fancy about how we do things; we just cook and serve. Sometimes the service might be a little slow when we are packed, but we do our best to keep everyone happy. We aren’t trying to be the biggest or most famous place in Kolkata, just a reliable spot in Block P where you can get a decent meal without any unnecessary drama or high prices.
