Trans World Marketing Company

Trans World Marketing Company sits right on 39/1/1 Kalighat Road. If you know the area, you know how busy the street gets with cars and rickshaws all trying to get somewhere at the same time. Our office is small. It fits what we need to do. We spend a lot of time on the phone here, talking to different people and trying to arrange things. It is a lot of back and forth, really. The desk is usually covered in notes and little scraps of paper with numbers on them. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception desk. You just walk in and someone is there to talk to you. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, but we stay dry inside and keep working. The light in the afternoon comes through the front window in a weird way that makes it hard to see the screen, so we usually pull the blind down halfway. We have been here for a good bit of time now, and we have seen the shops around us change owners while we stayed put. It is a simple life of marketing and trading. We go out for lunch at the little place around the corner that serves decent rice. By evening, we are usually tired but we finish up what we started before locking the door and heading home through the heavy traffic that never seems to end.
