You can find us at number 2 on Russel Street, right next to the Gangaur Sweet Shop. It's a well-known spot in the Midleton Row area of Kolkata, 700071. We've been here for a long time. The entrance is right off the sidewalk, so you hear all the street noise until you step inside. It's a bit of an old-fashioned place with dark wood and chairs that have been sat in by a lot of people over the years. We have a bar on one side and tables for eating on the other. It gets pretty loud on Friday nights. The kitchen is tucked away in the back. We serve a lot of regular dishes that people in this city grew up eating. The staff has worked here for years, so they know how everything works. We don't have a website that’s updated much; we just rely on people walking in. The walls have some old pictures on them. It’s not fancy, but it's comfortable for most. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when we're full, but we get there eventually. We keep the fridge stocked and the floors swept. It's just a typical Russel Street establishment. People come in for a drink or a meal and stay as long as they want. It’s a bit cramped when it's busy, but that’s just how these old buildings are. We just keep the lights on and the doors open.
